And this year is no different. In the NL you have perhaps the biggest snub in Jose Valdivia, followed closely by the likes of Hootie Fisher, Raul Gil, and Jamie Hatcher. The AL had some also with Vic Chantres, another huge snub Orlando Johnson, and a couple of relievers in R.A. Green and the recently acquired Aaron Malone. Though all get to rest for the 3 days you could sense the dissapointment in all of them.

In other All Star news the young slugger Barry Burba added to his growing legend by winning the Home Run Derby. Now the race is on can he overcome the odds (and August) to become the Sandbricks single season leader? Don't forget to take the poll!!!

Keep checking back for trade deadline rumors.

This is Brickley Sanderson signing off.

THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT, THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!!!!

Well not really. In sweeping changes the new commissioner took out the trash. 3 new respected owners to replace the 3 who decided they were in over their heads. So lets take a look at where the world stands shall we.

Power Rankings Top 10
1.Ottawa
2.Syracuse
3.New Orleans
4.Huntington
5.Texas
6.Boston
7.Jacksonville
8.Cleveland
9.Chicago AL
10.Florida

Bottom 5
32.
